Aluminum Sulfate has many different uses. It is used in laboratory reagent. Also in industrial chemicals, for example it is used as coagulant in the process of purification of drinking water. Aluminium sulfate is also sometimes used to reduce the pH of garden soil. It is also the active ingredient for antiperspirants.
Some additional information about aluminum sulfate is that it is usually found in baking soda. Aluminum sulfate is a good mordant for natural dyeing. Aluminum sulfate is odorless. It is also the foaming agent for the fire extinguisher foam. The appearance of aluminum sulfate is white crystal or light yellow solid. It is also used in paper mills.
